Application Fees

• General/OBC/EWS candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 250/-
• SC/ST candidates are also required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 250/-
• The payment of examination fees can be made online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Air Force Agniveers Vayu Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• The minimum age limit to apply for the Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2023 Recruitment 2023 is 17.5 years.
• The maximum age limit to apply for this recruitment drive is 21 years.
• Candidates who were born between 26/12/2002 to 26/06/2006 are eligible to apply.
• It is important to note that the age criteria will be considered as per the Indian Airforce Agniveers Recruitment 02/2023 rules.

Education Qualification

Science Subject Eligibility Details :-

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• In addition to the above, candidates must also have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in English in 10+2.

OR

Candidates who have completed a 3-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) are eligible to apply for the Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2023 Recruitment 2023 provided that they have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in both the diploma course and English in the diploma course.

OR

Candidates who have completed a 2-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics from any recognized board are eligible to apply for the Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2023 Recruitment 2023 if they have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% marks in English.

Other than Science Subject Eligibility:-

Candidates who have completed 10+2 intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% marks in English are eligible.

OR

Candidates who have completed a 2-year vocational course with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% marks in English are also eligible to apply.

Agniveer Vayu Medical Standard

Here's the medical standard for both male and female candidates for the Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2023 Recruitment 2023:

1. Height:

1. Male: Minimum height of 152.5 cm is required.
2. Female: Minimum height of 152 cm is required.

      2.  Chest:

1. Male: The minimum chest will be 77 cm and the minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cm. 
2. Female: Not applicable.

     3.  Weight:  Proportionate to height and age for both male and female candidates.

Benefit of Agniveer Agnipath Scheme

1. The scheme allows youth to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years.
2. Agniveers, as they are called under this scheme, will be provided with life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs for the duration of their engagement period in the Indian Air Force.
3. Upon completion of the time period, Agniveers will receive a skill-set certificate from the Indian Air Force.
4. Agniveers are entitled to annual leave of 30 days and sick leave, which will be granted based on medical advice.
5. The Agneepath scheme is open to Indian youth aged between 17.5 to 21 years.
6. The scheme also includes yearly benefits for Agniveers.
